“Open Screen” is where we provide local film makers the opportunity to showcase their work on the big screen with a live audience. Drawn from the inspiration of an “Open Mic”, the members at Haus of Owl recognized the need to provide a platform to film makers to showcase their work, and so ‘Open Screen’ was created. Come to “Open Screen” to share what you’ve shot, starred in, edited or are working on, or join us to celebrate local film makers. Each artist is allotted a 10-minute slot to showcase music videos, film shorts, or excerpts from longer pieces, followed by a 5-minute Q&A session. And, of course, we've got popcorn at the ready!
