Victorious Voices Poetry Workshop @ Haus of Owl (Doors @ 4:15-4:30PM) 4:30 - 5:30PM
Meet at the entrance at the corner of Burdett and Blanshard
Join Winnipeg Poet Laureate Chimwemwe Undi for Writing Window, a 1-hour poetry workshop as part of Victorious Voices Festival!
"A thing I love in poems is when they use observations or details about our everyday life to cast a light or a question. In this workshop, we will read and discuss poems by Black writers, Indigenous writers and writers of color who are writing today, alongside us, and considering our everyday. We will then write our own windows, using details from our lives, loves and obsessions to write into the world."
