Meet at the entrance at the corner of Burdett and Blanshard|

3 MONTHS  *  COMMIT  *  SHARE  *  SUPPORT  *  CELEBRATE

Want to make more progress on your goals? Are you great at setting goals, but brilliant at procrastinating? Want to learn effective ways to set goals AND follow through? Then read on...

One of the most effective ways to get moving on your goals is to share them in a supportive group setting and meet regularly to share progress. Action Traction is a 3-month program led by an experienced facilitator. It is intended as an opportunity to learn and a fun group experience. This program encourages participants to set out realistic goals, break down what actions are needed, and choose their own deadlines. Groups meet regularly every 3-4 weeks to share progress and talk about their successes and any challenges or blockers they encountered.

This is all about encouraging all participants to get traction for their goals. Most importantly, it is about celebrating progress and results as a group in a supportive environment. Sometimes what seems like just a small step can be huge for an artist.

Now into its second year, there have been some wonderful breakthroughs for artists of many different backgrounds including Songwriters, Musicians, Artists, Writers, Photographers, Film Makers and Entrepreneurs.

Here are a few comments from past participants.

“Just to say that I am having my first ever book signing as a local Calgary author. This wouldn't have been possible if I wasn't pushed to get my books to libraries across Canada”. New author –first book release

“Action Traction Works!” - A visual artist who took the program to take his passion from being a hobby to a professional presence.

“It was like a fog lifting” - A filmmaker and creative entrepreneur who had a lot on the go.

This program is all about encouraging all participants to get traction for their goals. Most importantly, it is about celebrating progress and results as a group.

Applications are invited for the upcoming runs. The fee for a limited time is:

HOO Members $75 for all sessions

Doors @ 5:45pm / Show @ 6:00pm
Meet at the entrance at the corner of Burdett and Blanshard

You are warmly invited to the “Let’s Talk About It” hosted by Anne Martina and featuring ; TBA!

“Let’s Talk About It” is a biweekly event presented by Haus of Owl where local artists showcase their music and have a guided interview by the audience and our host, recording artist Anne Martina. Two guitars, and mics provided. Feel free to bring your own instruments as well!

Anne Martina

Anne Martina is a singer-songwriter based in Victoria, BC. She writes heartfelt music about her personal experiences, largely centred around themes of love, heartbreak, and growing up. Her influences include pop, folk, and punk music but overall, she just enjoys meaningful lyrics and catchy tunes. Tom Rothmeier

Born in Bayern, Germany, Tom never really fit into his Lederhosen and resented the Bavarian beer lifestlye, instead he prefered smoking plants which led him to move to BC at 21 years old.

Once he settled into the West Coast lifestyle, Tom realized that he was in the right spot to pursue his interest in intoxicating plants, mindfulness and laughter.

Now, he’s become a well-known entrepreneur in the Candian Cannabis industry and has been building communities for everyone who shares his passion for plants, mindfulness and being silly.

It’s Tom’s mission to empower the people around him to reach their potential and live a fun and fulfilling life.
